Trama
Condotta dall'astrofisico statunitense Neil deGrasse Tyson, la serie in tredici episodi svelerà agli spettatori di tutto il mondo le meraviglie dell’universo attraverso l’incredibile potenza della prospettiva scientifica. Oltre all'utilizzo della più moderna computer grafica, alle immagini in alta definizione e alle interviste ai più importanti studiosi, all'interno di Cosmos ci saranno anche sequenza animate che verranno doppiate da special guest star come lo stesso MacFarlane e altre celebrità hollywoodiane. La serie è stata girata in diverse parti del mondo tra cui l’Italia.
Cosmos è a tutti gli effetti il sequel di COSMOS. A PERSONAL VOYAGE, uno dei principali programmi televisivi di divulgazione scientifica, ideato e condotto da Carl Sagan, uno dei più famosi astrofisici del ventesimo secolo. La serie venne vista da più di 750 milioni di persone in oltre 175 paesi, vincendo ben tre Emmy Awards.
