剧情简介
故事发生在虚构的威尔士小镇莫法·哈伦（Morfa Halen）。这个紧密团结的社区岌岌可危地坐落在巍峨群山和不断逼近的海水之间，海洋正威胁着它的生存。
一场百年一遇的风暴正在远海酝酿，前侦探、现任教师杰基·埃利斯（Jackie Ellis）发现了她8岁学生塞芬（Cefin）的尸体，塞芬似乎是溺亡的。这一发现震惊了整个社区，也唤醒了三年前震惊小镇的一桩悬案——杰基的侄女内莎（Nessa）的失踪，这桩案件也断送了她的职业生涯。
